Dr. Vito Mennella is a Scientist in the Cell Biology research program at The Hospital for Sick Children (SickKids). Dr. Mennella received his B.Sc. from the University La Sapienza in Rome, Italy. He then worked as a research assistant at the National Institute of Health in Italy. After becoming a Fulbright Fellow, Dr. Mennella travelled to the U.S. to complete his M.Sc. and his PhD at Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York in Dr. David Sharp’s lab. From there, Dr. Mennella joined the Howard Hughes Medical Institute lab (HHMI) of Dr. David Agard at the University of California San Francisco (UCSF) as a postdoctoral fellow. Dr. Mennella joined the Research Institute at SickKids in 2014.
